Ghana Telecom becomes Vodafone
Ghana Telecom has now taken on the name of its new parent company, Vodafone. The UK operator acquired 70% of Ghana Telecom for US$900m last year.
Vodafone, which is also acquiring control of South Africa's Vodacom, has also pledged to invest US$500m in Ghana.
