Angola incumbent to invest US$2.5bn
State-owned Angola Telecom plans to invest US$2.4bn in its fibre optic and fixed-line network by 2013, CEO Joao Manuel told local reporters.
The operator plans to roll out a 7,000km-long fibre optic network and install half a million phone lines. Manuel also said that Angola Telecom was interested in extending its links with Portugal Telecom, Reuters reports.
